Being a total nerd about cars, it’s tough to be able to recommend great fun cars knowing that most people are worried about high gas consumption. Rawautos.com has a great article about the best cars that still have good (maybe not great considering the 350z is on the list) fuel economy.

His chose a $35,000 US price ceiling for this list.

His ten cars are:

  • BMW 128i
  • BMW 328i
  • Mini Cooper and Cooper S
  • Honda Civic Si (coupe and sedan)
  • Mazda Mazdaspeed 3
  • Acura TSX
  • Volkswagen GTI MK V
  • Volkswagen R32
  • Nissan 350Z
  • Audi A4 2.0T Quattro

1. Make sure the tire pressure on your car is at the recommended level.

2. Drive like grandma. Light acceleration, lots of coasting.

These work. Seriously.
