CNN has a food blog called Eatocracy. Some of their regular anchors have been moonlighting there including Canadian Ali Velshi.

BlogTO launched a new look today. It’s a bit awkward but they have a good team and will iron out some of the bugs. I think this is part of a larger change in strategy of the site away from a pure “blog” to more of a “destination” site. There’s a large vacuum in the “Toronto portal” market with the mismanagement at Toronto.com (seriously, does anyone use this site anymore?) – BlogTO looks like they are positioning themselves to take up more of that space.

I picked this up from the Globe: The US Ambassador to Canada is a blogger. He fills his official blog with posts about his introduction to Canada and moving into his new home in Ottawa. While I’m sure it won’t contain anything controversial, it’s pretty cool to see some inner workings of diplomats.

I’m hoping he keeps up the blog, as sometimes blogs are started and abandoned fairly quickly.
