		<description>I strongly agree with all the sentiments expressed here. I used to love the food network and watched it religiously. We used to call it old peoples MTV. Now it is filed with either inane reality shows, travelogues, or repeats of repeats of cooking shows from 5 years ago that I have seen 10 times. The best we are able to do now to satisfy our cooking show fix is to record and watch as much Saturday afternoon PBS as we can.
I just came across the Cooking channel while trying to find where Alton Brown&#039;s Good Eats is lurking. It seems like Shaw media is doing their utmost to prevent any competition for the low cost maximum profit drivel that they are providing to Canadian viewers.
It is time for a change!!</description>
