if you already have the LX3 there's no reason to upgrade unless you find something lacking. i don't have any of them so i'm waiting until PMA is over before i pick.

i don't think i would ever use these to record a movie. i barely use it on my d90.

Hmm..I will still take the LX3 until maybe an LX4 when available. The HD video is one of my favorite features of the LX3. I actually leave my AVCHD HD dedicated video recorder at home as well as my Nikon DSLR and many lenses because it does both quite well. The ridiculous think is when I put my monstrous SB900 Nikon flash on the LX3 body (yes.. it actually works!). I just find it a bit ridiculous that the s90 and TL500 don't let you record HD when there is more than enough hardware to do so.

just ignore the application on your feed. You can block the entire app from spamming your newsfeed. Then you won't get any updates about Farmville or Mafia wars on your fb ever again.

I would not rule out Panasonic.. I have been reviewing the TC-P54Z1. I think its as good as the Kuro (unfortunately is the same price range as the Kuro too). Now if they only made it in Black to match the beauty of the Elite Kuro.

i think plasma still reigns supreme, but with pioneer leaving the plasma business, i think that LCD's will take up the top ranks of the AV kingdom.

Actually... AWD can help in stopping.. I have saved myself a couple of times by slamming my Yukon Denali (with X-Ice) into reverse to prevent low speed rear enders. Four snows spinning in reverse with a crazy heavy vehicle with 400 hp stops 100 times faster than any anti-locking system. I know its very bad for the tranny but hitting a car with a large SUV is even more costly.

PS: thought you were not blogging till the new year?

Merry XMAS!!!
