Rogers has been using an archaic program guide on their cable TV service for years now. They’re probably the only one in North America still using it. Well, they have finally decided to upgrade. The new program guide will be in full HD and the rollout started this week.

This year there will be a lot of food offered during the all-night festival.

FOOD TRUCK EATS
The third installment of the Food Trucks Eats festival taking place between 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Distillery District, which is home to a few exhibits as well.
REST STATIONS
Smoke’s Poutinerie and Tiny Tom Donuts will be set up at Yonge and Edward
Mis Amigos Festival Caterers will serve up Latin-style chicken legs and other dishes at Yonge and Grenville
The station at Yonge Street and Dundonald Street (one block north of Wellesley) will feature freshly baked pies from Baker Street Bakery.
Along with the food trucks that normally reside at City Hall, Zane Caplansky will have his rig parked just further north at Bay and Albert. Bring on the brisket.

RESTAURANTS
Our best of list for 24hr restaurants in Toronto is a good place to start here. Of those featured, the best-placed for Nuit Blanche are likely Lakeview, 7 West, The Counter, Fran’s, and the notorious Vesta Lunch.
Also sure to packed is Poutini’s, which is open until 5 a.m.
The Drake will be doing a carnival thing, complete with late night eats
Six Oliver and Bonacini-owned restaurants will be offering $5 Nite Bites starting at 9 p.m. They are: Bannock (Queen & Bay), O & B Cafe Grill (Yonge & Front), Biff’s Bistro (also Yonge & Front), Jump (18 Wellington), O&B Canteen (King and John), and Luma (also King and John)
Delux will be serving Cuban sandwiches until 2 a.m. for those who get their hunger pangs “early”
Creative space Miracle Thieves will also be serving up treats through the night.

Porsche is raffling off a restored 1972 911 at an event this weekend for Porsche Club members. The car was fanatically restored by Porsche Classic – a division of the car company devoted to it’s older cars. They have engineering equipment and skills to fix almost anything in an old car and the photos below show the extent of their capabilities:
