Knife is a new retail spot on Queen West. Focusing solely on some of the unique kitchen knives from Japan, it’s quite a sight. The craftsmanship is far higher than the mass produced blades that I use. They’ve gotten some good press in Toronto Life and Vitamin Toronto. Eugene Ong is the owner and they offer a sharpening service using Japanese whetstones.
An Australian pilot managed to save his aircraft (and himself) and recover from a stall – but not after dipping both wingtips in the water. An amazing recovery:
Onkyo just announced their updated line of A/V networked receivers, the TX-NR1008, 808 and 708 models update the previous 1007, 807 and 707 models. These “networked” receivers feature ethernet ports for accessing your computers media files and internet streaming sites. The new models feature HDMI 1.4, iPod/iPhone compatible USB port, and new onscreen display. Reports of retailers clearing out the xx07 models are being reported.
