One Response to “$10 Wines From Toronto Life”
  1. I worked in the wine industry for many years and I learned there are 3 types of wine: mass produced, recipe, and boutique. The difference is not always price. The difference is that mass produced goal is to make it always taste the same year over year and to add whatever chemicals you need to make it this way. Recepe is a little better. this may be a blend that someone has come up with and that someone else can follow. These may have chemicals, but usually just differ slightly with age. Boutique wines are always hand blended goodness. They are always different by year and some are better some years and worse others. It’s more about the quality and wine makers ability.

SO… $10 wines may taste good, but make sure your not getting a bottle of chemicals. You can find wine maker wines in the 10-$15 range if you do your research!
