A few friends of mine have had some “oops” moments with the new cars. It always surprising how it always happens with new cars rather than old – maybe they just care about them more and notice.
I’ve had a few deep scratches on my car too and used a product called Langka. Langka works with the dealer touchup paint to eliminate the marks from your car. It won’t give you the look for a repaint, but it’s a good “concealer” for some of the minor boo-boos that your car goes through.
Their site gives complete directions, but here’s a high level summary:
- Clean the area to be repaired
- Use dealer touch-up paint to fill in the damage – let it dry
- Use Langka to remove the “blob” of paint
