This has been my favorite Pho place for many years, ever since my friend Lewis brought me there. It’s a popular place for the U of T crew because of it’s proximity to campus and it’s student-friendly pricing. Inside, it’s very basic, with furniture and seating out of a 70’s diner. However, it’s packed in weeknights and the menu is filled with all your Vietnamese favorites.
The Pho broth is warm and filling, the noodles nicely made. One of my friends told me the noodles were handmade at the restaurant, but I’ve never been able to verify this. It’s cheap and cheerful, and is the best Pho place in the area. There’s other places further South nearer to Dundas, but there’s always a nice place to park near Saigon Palace which is why I keep returning.
